Role Summary
This position is suited to a practical Supply Chain Analyst / Planner with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience who is comfortable owning a scope, working cross-functionally, and improving processes in a modern manufacturing setting.
The role centers on turning demand into workable production and material plans, coordinating with internal teams, tracking performance, and helping the site maintain smooth flow across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of production and material planning across multiple active product lines, including local and external manufacturing.
- Translate demand signals and forecasts into reliable supply and capacity plans.
- Work closely with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Service as a key coordination point.
- Track on-time delivery and revenue performance, and help improve both.
- Identify supply risks such as material shortages, capacity limits, and long lead times, then push practical corrective actions.
- Support process upgrades, ERP improvements, and decisions based on data.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Planning and scheduling material movement through the production cycle.
- Managing material needs based on demand changes, engineering updates, and production schedules.
- Working with Procurement to strengthen inventory control and overall stock health.
- Monitoring performance measures such as OTD, inventory turns, revenue indices, and cycle times.
- Communicating supply issues clearly when they could affect customer commitments.
- Supporting ERP use and transition activities, including Microsoft Dynamics AX or a similar platform.
- Promoting continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, materials planning, or supply chain analysis in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with an ERP system; Microsoft Dynamics AX is especially valued.
- Strong analytical ability with the capacity to work independently and prioritize well.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-reliability manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a solution-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; SharePoint knowledge is an added advantage.
