Aircraft Mechanic C

Main Objective of the Role

This position involves training to become a qualified Aircraft Mechanic, gaining the experience and credentials needed to independently execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the flydubai fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete hands-on practical training as instructed by certifying personnel, adhering to both regulatory standards and company guidelines.
• Continuously enhance skills in performing maintenance tasks and managing related paperwork.
• Maintain and periodically update a log of completed practical training and tasks to support qualification for company authorizations.
• Keep mandatory training certifications current to ensure safe engagement in maintenance duties.
• Execute all maintenance work following company policies and health and safety laws.
• Support operations by working scheduled and requested overtime, up to 50 hours per calendar month.
• Provide assistance to Senior Certifying Engineers with auxiliary responsibilities such as Driver Line Maintenance when primary staff are unavailable.
• Participate and successfully complete competency evaluations as required by the company legislation.
• Obtain and regularly maintain a company-compliant mechanic's toolbox and hand tools, and comply with mandatory toolbox audits.
• Assist Certifying Engineers in performing routine, scheduled, and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in line with the aircraft maintenance manual.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma.
• Completion of a basic apprenticeship or recognized instructional course in aircraft maintenance.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience ranging from 2 to 4 years with relevant qualifications.

Information Security Requirements

Comply with the company's Information Security and Resilience (ISR) policies, reporting any vulnerabilities or incidents to the Line Manager or Information Security team. Complete required ISR awareness training and follow the guidelines consistently in daily operations.
