AI Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for an AI Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation artificial intelligence systems. The position is fully remote and contract-based. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance how AI models learn and perform by providing high-quality, real-world data inputs. Prior AI experience is not a prerequisite; what matters most is your domain knowledge.

Primary Duties

• Develop and fine-tune reliable machine learning models suitable for production use.
• Create and automate comprehensive ML pipelines using CI/CD best practices.
• Utilize AWS cloud services to build scalable AI infrastructure and facilitate model deployment.
• Manage containerized applications through Kubernetes to ensure they remain highly available and scalable.
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and researchers to convert complex business requirements into practical machine learning solutions.
• Preprocess and analyze real-world data challenges to frame them effectively for machine learning applications.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of methodologies, outcomes, and technical decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in machine learning algorithms, model construction, and deployment strategies.
• Proficient programming capabilities in Python or Java, especially with experience in extensive software engineering projects.
• Experienced in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Hands-on use of AWS cloud platforms for machine learning and data processing tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for orchestration of containerized ML workloads.
• Excellent communication skills for writing technical documents and collaborating within teams.
• Ability to analyze, plan, and solve intricate real-world data problems effectively.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Background working in fast-paced startup or high-growth settings.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or a track record of academic publications in AI.
