About the Role
Positioned in Dublin 2, this fully onsite role spans a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential extensions. As an Advertising Sales Representative, you will oversee and expand a portfolio of small and medium-sized business (SMB) clients by employing consultative selling approaches, diligent pipeline management, and disciplined account oversight.
You will serve as a dependable consultant to advertisers, promoting business success via campaign enhancements, educational guidance, and recommendations rooted in data. Excelling in this role demands excellent communication capabilities, persistent sales tactics, comfort with proactive outreach, and the ability to function effectively within a dynamic, metrics-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary contact during the sales and account management journey.
- Oversee an SMB advertiser portfolio to achieve revenue growth and client retention.
- Initiate warm outbound communications including 40-50 calls daily alongside emails and follow-ups to engage current and prospective clients.
- Qualify incoming and outgoing leads and guide them through the sales process.
- Identify client advertising needs and suggest suitable advertising solutions and products.
- Assist advertisers through advisory support, ongoing education, campaign refinement, and performance analysis.
- Maintain an organized and precise sales pipeline utilizing CRM tools like Salesforce or equivalents.
- Achieve established daily and weekly activity levels for calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Comply with Service Level Agreements for prompt lead responses, client engagement, and renewals.
- Document customer interactions and sales opportunities meticulously to support forecasting accuracy.
- Ensure all customer communication meets established quality standards, adhering to turnaround times, corporate procedures, and data privacy regulations.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical enhancements.
- Detect recurring trends or issues and escalate them appropriately to leadership.
- Represent the brand positively by exhibiting professional, ethical, and customer-focused conduct.
Qualifications and Background
- Minimum of two years in inside sales, account management, or customer relations roles.
- Experience engaging in outbound calling or proactive client contact within sales or customer service.
- Background in digital advertising, media sales, SaaS, or platform-based business contexts.
- Fluency in English at C1 level (both spoken and written).
- Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., Irish Leaving Certificate).
- Strong verbal and written communication paired with emotional intelligence.
- Comfortable operating within target-driven performance settings.
- Keen organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Familiar with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and sales engagement tools.
- Interest in social media platforms, digital innovation, and cultural trends.
- Understanding of the region’s market or cultural context.
