About the Role
The Admissions Coordinator at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), located in Indore, is tasked with managing the complete admission process efficiently. This includes close collaboration with the Sales Team, Learning Centres, Information Centres, students, and the Central Admissions Department to ensure a seamless experience throughout the admission cycle.
Primary Responsibilities
- Distribute admission-related information, updates, and guidelines to the Sales Team.
- Serve as the liaison with Learning Centres and Information Centres regarding all admission activities.
- Act as the main communication bridge between the Sales Team and Central Admissions Department to resolve admission issues effectively.
- Ensure timely collection and submission of admission documents by coordinating with various centres.
- Compile and share lists of admitted students for each admission cycle with relevant departments.
- Issue Bonafide Certificates to students conforming to university policies.
- Handle requests to extend validity periods in line with University regulations.
- Collaborate with Admissions Department on programme changes, center transfers, student data adjustments, and other admission updates.
- Carefully review admission applications and documents to enroll only eligible candidates.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of student admissions and related documentation.
- Promptly update admission data in University systems.
- Work with students and centres to resolve critical admission matters.
- Support the Student Support Department administratively concerning admissions.
- Prepare and deliver timely admission reports and management information systems (MIS) as requested.
- Ensure all admission procedures comply with university policies and statutory regulations.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or University authorities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized statutory university.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in coordination, admissions handling, academic or general administration in higher education or related fields.
- Preferably experienced with admission documentation, student records, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
