About the Role

This role provides hands-on administrative and program support to the Executive Director and the Program Directors across three community programs at Intersection of Change. The position helps keep daily operations running smoothly and supports the organization’s community development work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Executive Director to support organizational activities and assist the leaders of Martha’s Place, Jubilee Arts, and Strength to Love II.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including correspondence and donor thank-you letters.
  • Build and update records for funders, clients, vendors, accounts receivable, and related files.
  • Organize documents and records for internal use and for outside accounting support.
  • Receive visitors at the front desk, answer phone calls, greet guests, and manage reception duties.
  • Support meetings by taking notes and assisting with preparation as needed.
  • Collect and sort incoming mail.
  • Track office equipment needs and place supply orders.
  • Prepare meeting spaces and coordinate in-house meeting setups when assigned.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma is required; however, two years of administrative experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Asana is expected.
  • Experience managing websites is considered an advantage.
  • Background in maintaining databases, records, and administrative systems is strongly preferred.
  • Marketing and outreach capability is useful for this role.
  • Graphic design experience, such as making flyers, newsletters, or simple visual materials, is a plus.
