Role Overview

Genpact is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to support and coordinate the AP function in a work-from-office setup in Gurgaon with a US shift. The role is suited to someone with solid finance and accounting knowledge, experience in accounts payable operations, and a proactive approach to improving processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the end-to-end activities involved in accounts payable, including transaction posting, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate AP records.
• Check invoices and requisitions to ensure they are properly approved for payment.
• Validate invoice calculations, including extensions, totals, and any applicable discounts.
• Review vendor records for prior payments, allocate voucher numbers, and prepare vouchers with the required invoice and vendor details as per accounting policies.
• Support the identification and implementation of improvements in AP processes.

Requirements

• B.Com graduate.
• Relevant and substantial experience in accounts payable or a closely related finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and SME-level knowledge of finance concepts.
• Clear communication skills and a highly proactive work style.
• Comfortable using MS Excel and MS Word.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

Applicants with a B.B.A./B.M.S. in any specialization or a B.Com in any specialization may apply, provided they also meet the experience and skill expectations for the role.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time onsite position based in Gurgaon, India, with a US shift schedule.
