Access Management Supervisor

Role overview

This position is responsible for guiding access management activities with limited supervision while driving long-term operational goals. The role focuses on strengthening IT security controls, improving policies and procedures, and ensuring reliable operation and maintenance of access management processes. It also involves advising on new and updated access-related requests, as well as reviewing performance against KPIs and recommending improvements.

IT security access management

• Keep up to date with evolving access management practices, understand business requirements, and shape guidelines, policies, and procedures that help protect the IT environment.
• Apply access management standards in day-to-day operations, including administration and upkeep of identity, authentication, and authorization across networks, solutions, systems, applications, and devices.
• Gather identity details for all users, manage the full access, identity, and account lifecycle, and maintain complete records.
• Handle requests to grant, modify, or restrict access rights, enable authorization for systems and devices based on technical workflows and requests, and provide continuous business support for access management.
• Receive and resolve access-related incidents and escalated tickets according to priority, ensuring timely handling within agreed service levels.
• Collect information for access-related change requests, assess their impact, prioritize and schedule them, implement approved changes, and evaluate the results.
• Track access activity across ZATCA systems, devices, and applications, identify issues, and provide practical recommendations.
• Measure actual access management performance, analyze metrics, spot gaps against KPIs, and prepare periodic reports with corrective actions to reduce or prevent access-related risks.

Operations and support

• Work in line with all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and controlled execution.
• Assist in resolving escalated issues and support junior team members so work continues efficiently.
• Refer complex matters to the appropriate stakeholder to ensure proper closure.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

People management

• Train junior team members on different job tasks to support knowledge transfer when needed.
• Give clear instructions, set priorities, assign responsibilities, and monitor the work of subordinates or junior staff.
• Support direct reports and junior employees so they can perform according to established policies and processes.

Education and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A master’s degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification is preferred. The role calls for up to 8 years of relevant experience, including a preferred 3 years at managerial level.
