Role Overview
The Academic Advisor position is an essential role within LEAD Group's Excellence Team based in Nizamabad, Telangana, India. This role involves close collaboration with teachers and school leaders to ensure the successful implementation of LEAD's academic system across partner schools. The Advisor will engage in training, coaching, monitoring, and cooperative efforts to achieve student learning goals and advance LEAD's mission of providing high-quality education to every child.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in academic support and teacher training, or 3-5 years teaching elementary to high school (K-10), including roles such as Teacher, Principal, or Academic Coordinator.
- Alternatively, 1-2 years fellowship experience (e.g., Teach For India) plus 2-3 years post-fellowship experience.
- At least 2 years of experience supervising teacher teams.
- Knowledge or experience working within EdTech or SchoolTech academic operations or consulting.
- Willingness and availability to travel extensively, approximately 15-20 days each month.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably Bachelor or Master of Education (B.Ed or M.Ed).

- Ability to engage in data-driven conversations and track performance metrics effectively.
- Competence in managing multiple stakeholders and collaborating with large, diverse groups.

Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver training and coaching sessions to school leaders, academic coordinators, and teachers on LEAD's academic system.
- Conduct classroom observations and monitor implementation effectiveness through performance data analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on student and teacher performance, recommending interventions when necessary.
- Establish and nurture solid relationships with various school stakeholders to promote retention and satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively across teams to address challenges faced during the implementation process in partnering schools.
- Provide actionable feedback from field experience to internal teams to help improve academic products and systems.
- Promote the consistent adoption and delivery of LEAD’s academic methodology throughout partner schools.
