About the Role
Join Marpu Foundation as a Workshop Facilitator & Leadership Intern, where leadership meets effective communication. This position involves remotely guiding productive discussions, workshops, and panel debates to foster meaningful dialogue on social and environmental challenges. You will moderate expert conversations, steer sessions towards clear objectives, and inspire actionable outcomes, all while developing key leadership skills such as critical thinking, conflict management, and active listening.

Marpu Foundation is a youth-driven NGO distinguished by national and UN accolades, dedicated to nurturing global citizenship among young individuals. Leading initiatives aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, and supported by a vast volunteer network, the foundation is recognized as India's Best NGO (2020), spearheading sustainable development efforts nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and moderate engaging workshops, panel discussions, and interactive sessions addressing vital societal and environmental topics.
- Effectively manage interactions between participants and experts to maintain respectful, constructive exchanges.
- Drive sessions to achieve targeted goals, encapsulate key discussion points, and help form actionable takeaways.
- Enhance personal leadership capabilities including listening skills, critical analysis, and conflict resolution within dynamic live settings.
Candidate Eligibility
- Available to undertake a remote internship lasting 1 month.
- Capable of commencing between July 14, 2026, and August 18, 2026.
- Possess relevant communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Enthusiastic about training, moderating, or policy-focused work with strong comprehension of complex topics.
- Women interested in beginning or resuming their careers are particularly encouraged to apply.
Additional Details
- Open to all students irrespective of academic discipline or year of study.
- Stipend ranges from ₹2,000 to ₹25,000 per month, comprised of fixed pay (₹1,000 - 12,500) and incentives (₹1,000 - 12,500).
- Flexible working hours accommodating part-time remote engagement.
- Internship duration is 1 month with immediate joining preferred.
- Provides certificates and letters of recommendation upon completion.
