Role Overview and Responsibilities

We seek an experienced Workday Finance Lead with hands-on proficiency in P2P and devoted expertise in Workday Finance and Professional Services Automation (PSA) modules. The role involves advising clients, configuring solutions, deploying financial and project accounting systems, and ensuring smooth adoption of Workday Finance tools.

• Engage with clients to elucidate and analyze intricate financial and project accounting requirements.
• Offer strategic recommendations for enhancing financial and resource management leveraging Workday Finance and PSA.
• Architect and configure Workday Finance modules focused on PSA components such as Projects, Project Billing, and Project Tracking in conjunction with General Ledger.
• Synchronize project accounting with financial reporting to optimize revenue recognition, billing processes, and utilization tracking.
• Maintain clear communication as the main client interface throughout implementation.
• Coordinate with internal and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including configuration manuals and training guides.
• Deliver customized training sessions on project-to-cash workflows and provide ongoing support post-deployment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience functioning as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant.
• Direct practical experience in implementing and configuring Workday PSA, particularly Projects and Project Billing.
• Mandatory possession of at least one valid Workday Finance core certification such as Workday Financials Core.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial operations, project accounting, and Workday Finance best practices including General Ledger and Financial Reporting.
• Proficiency in configuring diverse business processes, custom organizational setups, and creating advanced financial reports within Workday.
