Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, driven Warehouse Manager responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and the flow of materials across the organization. This role involves close cooperation with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales teams to ensure precise handling of raw materials and finished products while maintaining operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse activities including inventory management for raw materials, packaging, and finished stock.
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials aligned with production demands.
- Coordinate with Production for sufficient material availability and smooth transfer of finished goods into inventory.
- Work with Logistics for accurate order picking, dispatch, and delivery processes.
- Conduct regular inventory monitoring, stock audits, and reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
- Establish and refine warehouse processes, control procedures, and best practice standards to boost efficiency.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of a barcode inventory tracking system.
- Manage warehouse personnel fostering a safe, well-organized, and productive workplace.
- Prepare detailed inventory reports and track key warehouse performance indicators, recommending enhancements.
- Collaborate across departments including Procurement, Production, Sales, and Finance for precise inventory planning and stock management.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- More than 5 years’ experience in warehouse or supply chain roles within manufacturing settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of inventory controls, warehouse functions, and material planning techniques.
- Proficiency using ERP and inventory management software systems.
- Demonstrated leadership, excellent organizational ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills enabling efficient cross-department collaboration.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
- Experience deploying warehouse process improvements, barcode systems, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Background in manufacturing sectors, construction chemicals, or industrial product environments.
- Understanding of inventory forecasting, stock optimization, and key warehouse performance metrics.
- Familiarity with Lean principles, 5S methodology, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Advanced analytical abilities with skill in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
