About The Role

We invite applications to join our Materials Management team located in Rocherlea, Tasmania, as a Warehouse Coordinator. This full-time position offers a Band 2 starting base salary of $69,591 per year (plus superannuation), with the total compensation package to be finalized based on your qualifications and experience.

In this role, you will be key to ensuring essential materials are available promptly to support field crews and contractors by managing inventory levels, preparing work packs, and overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of supplies. Maintaining accurate inventory records, adhering to warehouse protocols, and providing excellent service to internal customers are crucial to the success of this position. Familiarity with SAP or equivalent inventory management systems is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate is organized, forward-thinking, and thrives in fast-moving environments where precision and collaboration are vital. A high level of commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement is expected, alongside outstanding communication and customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Hold a current High Risk Forklift Licence.
  • Have completed Year 11 or an equivalent education level.
  • Demonstrate experience in warehousing, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
  • Show proficiency in computerized inventory control systems; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high integrity and attention to detail.
  • Commit to safety standards and ongoing process enhancements.

Additional Requirements

A successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the hiring procedure.
