Job Overview

Laparkan Shipping Suriname is seeking a dependable and industrious Warehouse Associate to join our Toronto-based team. This role involves supporting daily logistics and warehouse operations within a high-energy environment. The ideal candidate must be detail-focused, well-organized, and capable of working collaboratively within a team setting.

Key Duties

• Receive, categorize, and label incoming shipments accurately
• Pick, pack, and ready orders for dispatch efficiently
• Support loading and unloading of trucks as needed
• Maintain precise inventory documentation and communicate any inconsistencies
• Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, safe, and orderly
• Operate warehouse machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts, contingent on certification

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification
• Physical ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged durations
• Keen attention to detail paired with effective time management capabilities
• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics roles is considered an advantage
• Able to perform tasks independently and contribute positively to team efforts
