About the Role
Our client is a prominent leader in the meat processing industry, catering to major retail, foodservice, and industrial customers. After a phase of expansion and strategic transitions, they are seeking an experienced Vice President of Manufacturing & Supply Chain. This role is vital to spearheading a comprehensive operational enhancement, manufacturing optimization, and organizational transformation throughout their processing and supply chain network.
Reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with site management teams to boost operational output, increase profitability, streamline manufacturing assets, and establish a foundation for sustained, long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of a company-wide transformation initiative spanning various processing plants.
- Enhance manufacturing efficiency, labor productivity, yield control, operational effectiveness, and cost management.
- Identify and execute strategies to raise profitability via operational excellence and process improvements.
- Evaluate manufacturing locations and operational setups, proposing consolidation, rationalization, and capacity utilization enhancements where suitable.
- Facilitate organizational restructuring and skill development within operations and supply chain teams.
- Advance planning, procurement, logistics, and overall supply chain operations.
- Establish strong performance management systems and KPI frameworks across all sites.
- Lead complex change programs ensuring customer service, food safety, quality, and operational continuity remain uninterrupted.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive sustainable EBITDA growth and create value.
