About The Role
We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Videographer/Video Editor to join our Dubai-based team, where you'll be pivotal in creating outstanding video content for global events. This position demands a creative professional capable of shooting captivating footage on location and expertly editing it into engaging videos suitable for various platforms. The role suits someone comfortable in dynamic, high-pressure event settings, adept at managing both filming and post-production tasks independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute high-quality video shooting on-site at international events, conferences, exhibitions, and corporate functions locally in Dubai and abroad, with travel as required.
- Operate advanced camera systems, drones, stabilizers, lighting, and audio gear to generate cinematic and broadcast-level content.
- Capture diverse video materials such as keynote addresses, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, event summaries, and promotional clips.
- Set up and oversee multi-camera arrangements, live streaming equipment, and on-site recording devices.
- Work closely with event coordinators, marketing teams, and key stakeholders to align on shot compositions, storyboards, and creative directives.
- Maintain professional standards in technical aspects including framing, lighting, audio quality, and scene continuity.
- Edit raw video recordings into refined final videos, covering event recaps, social media snippets, sizzle reels, testimonials, and promotional content.
- Enhance videos through color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and titling for high production value.
- Deliver platform-optimized videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and corporate websites, often with tight deadlines, including same-day event highlights when necessary.
- Efficiently archive all raw footage, project files, and final products within a media management system.
- Ensure all video content consistently aligns with company and event branding guidelines.
- Maintain and prepare video equipment to be ready for events at all times.
- Stay informed of industry developments, new editing software, and video technology trends such as AI-assisted editing and drone regulations.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling demands that may include evenings, weekends, and travel to meet global event timetables.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and event production teams to support overarching campaign objectives.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in videography and video editing, preferably in event coverage, media production, or corporate communication contexts.
- A strong portfolio showcasing both filming and editing skills, especially related to live events.
- Experience with international or major-scale event projects is highly advantageous.
- Educational qualifications such as a bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media Production, Broadcasting, or a related discipline are preferred but not mandatory if accompanied by a robust portfolio.
- Proficient in operating professional camera equipment (brands like Sony, Canon, RED) and respective lenses.
- Advanced skills in editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop.
- Experience with drone flying (holding a UAE drone license is a plus) and stabilizing devices like gimbals.
- Familiarity with live streaming configurations and multi-camera production techniques.
- Basic knowledge of audio capture and sound design principles.
