Role Overview
We are seeking a Video Editor to join our content team based in London who will collaborate closely with leading sports rightsholders. The primary focus will be producing vertical video content optimized for social platforms to engage current audiences and attract new fans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, production, and publishing of vertical video concepts and content tailored for social media.
- Stay informed about trends and content strategies that drive growth and engagement on social platforms.
- Work closely with internal content managers to develop and execute content schedules and plans.
- Edit diverse video content for social channels within our client portfolio, especially for rightsholders and talent.
- Craft creative briefs for media days, shoots, and events, detailing content objectives and output expectations.
- Provide guidance on optimal video practices for platforms like TikTok.
- Maintain and share an ongoing learnings repository and recommendations for vertical video content and platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify emerging trends and promptly produce engaging content to maximize channel engagement.
- Keep updated on industry and platform innovations in video production to maintain a competitive edge.
- Support and train the broader Ten Toes team in video editing skills through advice and workshops.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a video editor within the sports domain.
- Exceptional attention to detail in video optimization, including subtitling.
- Track record of producing high-quality creative video content tailored for social media.
- Experience collaborating effectively with content and social media managers.
- Comprehensive understanding of social media video requirements and platform nuances.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work weekends according to the sporting calendar.
- Team collaboration experience.
- Skillful use of analytics tools to evaluate video performance.
- Desirable: experience with Adobe Photoshop and AI clipping technology.
- Interest in leveraging AI to enhance workflow efficiencies and content delivery.
