Video Annotation Specialist

Role Summary

We are looking for a Video Annotation Specialist to join our client’s project on a contract basis. This remote position involves labeling video content to support machine learning initiatives in computer vision, enhancing dataset quality for AI model training and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate video frames using bounding boxes, polygons, and segmentation masks to identify various objects, actions, and attributes.
• Maintain high annotation accuracy and ensure consistency by strictly adhering to detailed guidelines and quality control standards.
• Work closely with AI engineering teams to refine annotation protocols and enhance dataset integrity for better model performance.
• Verify and validate annotations to meet specific project criteria and performance benchmarks.
• Document annotation workflows and report any discrepancies or challenges encountered during the labeling process.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in video or image annotation for computer vision projects.
• Familiarity with annotation software such as Labelbox, CVAT, or equivalent tools.
• Strong attention to detail with capability to follow complex labeling guidelines precisely.
• Basic understanding of machine learning principles and best practices related to data annotation.
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver quality results consistently.
