Role Overview
We are seeking a Translations Proofreader to meticulously review and refine translated informational materials, including brochures and guides related to endometriosis, to ensure accuracy and clarity. This role is vital in bridging language and cultural gaps, thereby expanding the reach of crucial health information and empowering the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently proofread translated documents such as brochures and information guides about endometriosis.
- Facilitate overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers in written content.
- Ensure essential information about endometriosis and available support services are accessible to a wider audience.
- Contribute to community empowerment by enhancing the availability and clarity of health information.
Candidate Requirements
- Preferably fluent in the language being proofread; however, reasonable proficiency is also acceptable.
- Strong command of written English.
- Comfortable with technology and digital tools.
- Experience with Canva is an advantage; training can be offered for proficient individuals.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
