Role Overview
As a Training Specialist, you will provide expert guidance on all aspects of training, encompassing training operations, curriculum design, and assessment programs. You will be responsible for maintaining master records of all training materials under your supervision, continuously monitoring and updating instructions and databases related to training needs, testing protocols, and training standards.
Key Duties
- Advise on training-related matters including functions, curriculum development, and testing programs.
- Maintain comprehensive master files for training materials.
- Ensure that training requirements, testing programs, and training quality records are current and accurate.
- Review and assess curriculum content for technical correctness and goal attainment.
- Analyze trends from instructor evaluations, prepare detailed reports, and offer recommendations.
Employment Conditions
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible for federal employment.

Qualifications
- At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 level or higher, involving evaluation and revision of training programs, utilization of training methods and tools, assessment of instructor and student performance, and problem-solving with data analysis.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree, two years of graduate education toward a master’s, or an LL.B./J.D. if related, can substitute for experience.
- Submit transcripts when qualifying based on education.
