Trade Marketing Executive

About the Role

The Trade Marketing Executive at Hegen plays a vital role in supporting commercial and trade initiatives within retail environments to boost sales, enhance retailer partnerships, and ensure exemplary in-store execution. Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams, this position focuses on successfully managing promotional campaigns, product launches, and retail events while driving commercial goals and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing marketing activations aligned with brand strategies and sales targets.
• Execute channel-specific marketing tactics according to the annual marketing calendar.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for new product introductions, campaigns, and events.
• Organize trade activations such as baby fairs and retailer pop-ups.
• Conduct store visits to evaluate brand positioning and recommend enhancements.
• Create trade marketing materials including point-of-sale merchandising, sell-in presentations, toolkits, and promotional assets.
• Coordinate with brand and partnership teams on collaborative campaigns.
• Monitor marketing ROI and promotion effectiveness.
• Work with fulfillment operations to guarantee timely product delivery.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with retail partners.
• Support analysis of market trends and channels to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Spot new retail channels and expansion possibilities.
• Prepare commercial proposals, pitches, and business cases.
• Conduct competitive pricing and market analysis.
• Assist in onboarding new partners and distributors.
• Maintain account tracking, sales pipelines, and performance dashboards.

Additional Information

The role requires active participation in retail events, roadshows, and trade activities that involve standing for extended periods and handling merchandising materials up to approximately 5kg. Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Early-career professionals with experience or strong internship exposure in FMCG, retail operations, trade marketing, or similar commercial sectors.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with precision in execution.
• Sound commercial understanding and ability to work comfortably with data.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to conduct store visits and fieldwork regularly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with sales reporting tools and business intelligence is advantageous.
