Telecaller (Study Abroad)

About the Role

Taksheela Institute of Education (TIE) is seeking an energetic and results-driven Telecaller with 1 to 3 years of experience specifically in the study abroad or overseas education sector. The position is remote, based out of Kolkata, and is a full-time opportunity. The primary objective is to connect with prospective students and parents, assess their eligibility, arrange counselling sessions, and assist the admissions team to meet recruitment goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to potential students and their guardians.
• Manage inbound queries related to study abroad programs.
• Evaluate leads according to academic qualifications, preferred destination, and budget constraints.
• Organize counselling appointments and perform consistent follow-ups.
• Keep detailed and updated records in the CRM system.
• Work closely with counsellors to ensure a seamless admission journey for students.
• Meet prescribed daily targets for calls and scheduled appointments.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 1 to 3 years of telecalling experience within a study abroad consultancy or overseas education industry.
• Proficient communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong abilities in persuasion, diligent follow-ups, and building positive relationships.
• Familiarity with CRM software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-driven, goal-oriented, and customer-centric mindset.
