Role Overview

This is a contract-based remote position. Although the listing shows a location, the company confirms it is fully remote and open to candidates from anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer queries through multiple support channels, including tickets, chat, email, and live online meetings
• Partner with L2 support teams to diagnose issues and carry out effective resolutions
• Investigate and fix technical problems related to the WhatsApp API
• Assist partners and customers in understanding and using the WhatsApp Business ecosystem
• Communicate with WhatsApp and Meta contacts when needed
• Work alongside onboarding and commercial teams to support customers smoothly

Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in support or technical support roles
• A degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a closely related field
• Interest in stepping into a more demanding support-focused role
• Practical knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and APIs
• Hands-on exposure to REST APIs and webhooks
• Strong grasp of technical fundamentals and familiarity with helpdesk tools
• English proficiency at C1 level or above, plus one additional language
• A customer-first attitude with strong empathy for users
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with a structured, analytical mindset
• Clear communication skills, including active listening and precise questioning
• Ability to balance multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced setting
• Attention to detail and strong execution under pressure
• Bonus: experience with WhatsApp Business API or Meta Graph API
• Bonus: programming exposure in SQL, JavaScript, Python, or React
• Bonus: familiarity with logging or monitoring tools such as Grafana
• Bonus: prior people management experience
• Bonus: additional language skills

Compensation

The expected budget for this role is USD 15,000 to USD 24,000 per year, depending on experience and overall fit.
