Role Overview
The Technical Publisher will manage the release and upkeep of the airline’s technical documentation, ensuring manuals and related records are accurate, current, and properly distributed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the publishing of Green Africa’s technical documentation.
- Prepare amendment summaries together with the relevant manual owners.
- Implement the updates needed for manual amendments or full reissues.
- Upload manuals online or arrange printing of manuals that need revision or reissue for distribution.
- Confirm that manual and document revision status matches the records of manufacturers, vendors, and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
- Ensure revisions are delivered quickly and safely, and that updates are correctly reflected in Green Africa’s manuals.
- Keep a clear and complete register of all technical documents held by the company and where they are stored.
- Distribute manuals and amendment updates to the appropriate manual owners on the distribution list.
- Maintain the aircraft library.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in a relevant field is required.
- Applicants should have demonstrated experience in technical documentation management.
- Strong ability to use computer applications for publishing work is necessary.
- Familiarity with Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures, is expected.
- Prior experience in the aviation sector is required.
