Technical Project Manager

Overview

This role involves managing technical initiatives through all phases, from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business needs. You will serve as the central point for coordination among software developers, QA, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the complete lifecycle of IT and technical projects.
• Define and document project scope, establish timelines, milestones, and devise resource allocation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business units to drive project objectives.
• Continuously monitor project progress, address risks, resolve issues, and manage dependencies.
• Ensure projects are finalized within the agreed timeframes, budgets, and scope.
• Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to enhance team collaboration and project delivery.
• Create detailed project documentation, status updates, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Handle change management processes and ensure all modifications align with business priorities.
• Track project performance indicators and strive for constant enhancement of project management practices.

Essential Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Between one to three years of practical experience leading technical or IT projects.

Technical Expertise

• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficient in Agile methodologies including Scrum frameworks.
• Familiar with project management software such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project, or Monday.com.
• Knowledgeable about software development workflows, application programming interfaces (APIs), system integration, and cloud environments.
• Foundational grasp of database systems, software architecture, networking principles, and cybersecurity.
• Skillful in interpreting technical documents and effectively communicating with engineering teams.
• Experience in generating reports and utilizing dashboards with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI is advantageous.
