Technical Business Analyst

About the Role

We seek a technical business analyst to support digital platforms serving customers via mobile, web, and e-commerce channels. This individual contributor role involves transforming complex business requirements into actionable, delivery-ready tasks. The analyst will collaborate closely with business, product, and technical teams to refine requirements, organize delivery phases, and enable creation of solutions that truly address customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with product managers, business owners, and technical teams.
• Analyze and clarify the core business problem, intended goals, constraints, and dependencies.
• Convert business demands into well-defined epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams.
• Challenge existing assumptions constructively and propose simpler, more practical approaches.
• Use customer, operational, or transactional data to validate and support suggestions.
• Prepare requirements for backlog refinement, sprint planning, and execution.
• Ensure requirements remain clear and traceable throughout design, development, and testing stages.
• Contribute to user acceptance testing, clarify defects, support release readiness, and verify post-launch performance.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least six years of relevant experience as a business analyst, business systems analyst, or in technology requirements gathering, or a comparable level of delivery experience.
• Background in supporting user-facing digital platforms such as mobile apps, web portals, e-commerce, subscription services, or similar self-service environments.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured epics, user stories, and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Good practical knowledge of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and dependencies on backend systems.
• Experience working within agile product or technology delivery teams.
