Role Overview
This Teaching Assistant position is a full-time hybrid role based in Lagos, balancing on-site classroom involvement with remote work. The main functions include supporting teachers during coding lessons, assisting students in grasping programming concepts, and guiding them through interactive workbook activities. The TA will aid in micro-teaching, implementation of delivery strategies and learning materials, and provide individualized support to teachers to enhance their instructional delivery.
The role includes tracking lesson progress, offering constructive feedback, and maintaining direct communication with educators. Additional tasks encompass light administrative duties, updating student records, and proposing improvements for teaching resources and classroom engagement. Note that this role focuses on observation, strategy, and feedback, without direct teaching of learners.
Qualifications
- Proficient in assistant teaching and educational support to facilitate effective classroom learning.
- Excellent communication skills capable of explaining technical topics in straightforward terms.
- Comfortable with teaching science to early years and primary education students.

Renumeration
The offered salary during probation is 150,000 Nigerian Naira per month, excluding transportation costs.
