Tax Associate

Overview

Vialto is seeking a Tax Associate with expertise in international tax and global mobility to join their team based in Berlin or other German locations with options for hybrid or remote work. This role suits professionals with 1-2 years of experience eager to support global clients and help shape the future of international mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for employees operating internationally.
• Provide expert advice on expatriation structures and international double taxation agreements.
• Analyze payroll and compensation data to determine tax obligations.
• Consult employees regarding their global tax responsibilities and equalization policies.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, delivering regular updates and ensuring excellent service standards.
• Assist with financial management of client mandates including invoicing.
• Identify areas for improvement and potential new business within existing client portfolios.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in international tax or global mobility consulting.
• Fluency in both German and English languages.
• Strong client focus coupled with analytical proficiency and the ability to clarify complex tax matters effectively.
