Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Talent Operations Specialist responsible for owning the coordination of recruiting efforts and employee onboarding. This pivotal position bridges the recruiting team, hiring managers, and new employees to guarantee a smooth and efficient experience from initial interview through the first quarter in the role. Additionally, you will contribute to shaping our office culture in San Francisco, encouraging team connection and engagement. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, agility, and a passion for exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling and logistics for candidate interviews across all departments, ensuring a streamlined and efficient process for candidates and interviewers.
- Act as the main contact for candidates during the recruitment process, maintaining transparent communication and enhancing candidate experience.
- Oversee ATS data quality, interview coordination, and recruitment workflows; identify and resolve process inefficiencies as the company scales.
- Take full ownership of the onboarding journey from offer acceptance through the new hire's initial 30 days.
- Develop and improve onboarding documentation, checklists, and workflows to ensure new employees have a strong foundation.
- Collaborate with People and recruiting leadership to detect process gaps and propose enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or people operations, preferably within a fast-growing startup environment.
- Exceptional organizational capabilities with strong attention to detail, adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with candidates, new hires, and senior leadership.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive amidst ambiguity, building processes where none currently exist.
- A sincere passion for delivering outstanding candidate and employee experiences.
- An entrepreneurial, resourceful approach typical of startup culture, thriving in dynamic and fast-moving settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience enhancing or owning onboarding programs.
- Background in organizing in-office events and advancing company culture initiatives.
- Familiarity with ATS solutions such as Ashby and HRIS platforms.
- Experience working at companies with rapid headcount growth.
- Exposure to hybrid or office-centric workplace environments.
