About Appinio
Appinio is an international market research company that blends an AI-driven insights platform with specialist consulting. Its goal is to help businesses make more informed, fact-based choices by better understanding consumer behaviour.
Founded in Hamburg in 2014, the company now operates with a remote-first approach and has more than 260 employees across 13 countries. It serves over 2,600 clients worldwide and conducts research in more than 190 markets.
The company emphasizes openness in hiring and shares what candidates can expect throughout the recruitment journey.
Role overview
Appinio is seeking a motivated and proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to support the company’s global growth. The role covers full-cycle hiring for business functions and some technical positions, with close collaboration alongside hiring managers to attract, engage, and secure strong candidates.
Beyond running recruitment processes, the position requires a strategic mindset: building talent pipelines, improving sourcing approaches, using data to refine hiring performance, and contributing market knowledge to guide decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end hiring for business roles and also handle selected technical positions.
- Work with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and shape recruitment plans.
- Act as a hiring advisor by bringing market knowledge and helping influence recruitment choices.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across the DACH region as well as France, Spain, the UK, the US, and Latam.
- Build and maintain pipelines for strategic and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Ensure candidates have a strong and positive experience at every stage of the process.
- Use recruitment data to spot bottlenecks and improve hiring results.
- Use ATS tools and recruiting technology to simplify workflows and reporting.
- Keep current with market developments, sourcing methods, and new recruiting tools.
- Support employer branding work, including the Life at Appinio blog, to strengthen the company’s reputation as an employer.
Requirements
- A university degree and 3 to 5 years of in-house, end-to-end recruiting experience in fast-moving, high-growth companies.
- Proven success hiring for business functions, plus some exposure to technical recruiting.
- Interest in and understanding of the market research industry and its target talent groups.
- Strong experience recruiting in the DACH market; exposure to the UK, France, Spain, Latam, or the US is an advantage.
- Strong sourcing skills with a track record of turning outreach into hires.
- Confidence in partnering with hiring managers and challenging them constructively when needed.
- Ability to use data and hiring metrics to improve results.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset rather than a purely execution-focused approach.
- Substantial experience using ATS and recruitment tools, preferably Greenhouse and/or Ashby.
- Very good organisation skills, fluency in English, and the ability to manage several hiring processes at once.
- Strong interest in emerging trends, especially AI and automation.
Perks and benefits
- No fixed limit on vacation days under the company’s flexibility policy.
- For EU-based employees, the option to work from abroad for up to 180 days per year.
- All necessary equipment is provided, including a MacBook.
- Employees in Hamburg or Berlin receive either a Deutschland ticket or a mobility budget through NAVIT for commuting.
- Subsidised Urban Sports Club or ClassPass membership, depending on location.
- Access to co-working spaces in certain major cities, including Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, London, Madrid, Barcelona, and New York.
Additional information
Applications must be submitted in English. The company notes that the role description reflects the ideal candidate, but applicants who feel they match around 80% of the profile and are genuinely interested are still encouraged to apply.
Appinio is an equal-opportunity employer and evaluates all candidates without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
