About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will play a vital role within the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring a seamless, precise, and prompt transition for candidates from the offer stage to their first day. This position primarily focuses on supporting post-offer procedures such as requisition assignments, generating offer letters, and managing background screening processes to minimize delays and enhance the experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Team Structure
The role operates independently within a direct team of seven members and a broader group of seventeen. While much of the work is self-directed, collaboration is emphasized, particularly during training periods, with encouragement to engage with teammates when resolving challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle requisition assignments, create offer letters, and oversee background screening clearances.
- Coordinate communications with internal teams and external partners to support program deliverables, including managing candidate and hiring manager follow-ups.
- Ensure all requisitions are assigned in the Workday system within established service level agreements.
- Manage the candidate and hiring manager experience in Workday throughout the post-offer lifecycle.
- Oversee the complete offer letter process, ensuring necessary approvals and accurate data capture.
- Identify and resolve any Workday-related issues tied to offer letters or pre-employment screenings.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the team.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Generally 1 to 3 years of relevant experience; candidates with pertinent postsecondary education may qualify with less experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 applications at an intermediate level.
- Capability to independently manage tasks and prioritize workload, with escalation when necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving competence.
- Effective influencing and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior recruiting or sourcing experience with demonstrable success.
- Relevant postsecondary education credentials.
- Experience working with the Workday system.
- Background in the financial industry.
