Supply Chain Specialist

Role Overview

Insight Global is recruiting a Supply Chain Analyst to bolster procurement functions, engage suppliers, and lead sourcing tasks. This role involves managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, resolving related challenges, and coordinating with suppliers to guarantee timely fulfillment. Candidates should be analytical, forward-thinking, and adept at enhancing sourcing and supply chain activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee purchase order creation, monitoring, and issue resolution processes.
• Collaborate directly with suppliers to ensure orders are executed as planned.
• Support the management of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) activities.
• Contribute to expanding knowledge across project categories, focusing on spares, supplier networks, and market insights.
• Take initiative in driving supply chain improvements and ownership of workstreams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing roles.
• Proven capability in purchase order management and supplier engagement.
• Strong data analysis skills and comfort with Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience in supporting sourcing efforts and supplier research.
• Effective communication and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated individual who can operate independently and proactively identify optimization opportunities.

Preferred Skills and Background

• Exposure to MRO products or equipment manufacturing sectors.
• Background in product or equipment manufacturing industries (e.g., Johnson Controls).
• Experience conducting market intelligence and supplier research.
• Familiarity with facilities operations, spares management, or related supply chain domains.

Additional Information

• Contract duration: 12 months with potential extension.
• Work arrangement: fully remote within Canada.
• Hourly rate: between 45 and 55 CAD.
