About the Role
As a Supply Chain Operations Associate at Accenture in Navi Mumbai, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain activities including planning, procurement, distribution, and aftermarket service operations. Your work will help clients achieve significant value by optimizing order fulfillment processes — from order creation to delivery and financial settlement. This position involves activities such as purchase requisition processing, inventory coordination, order tracking, and shipment management within a global operations environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle various phases of order management including creation, prioritization, purchase order receipt, invoice matching, and fulfillment accuracy.
- Support sourcing and distribution of materials from manufacturing plants and distribution centers by creating and managing purchase requisitions and intercompany orders.
- Create delivery notes, pack shipments, manage urgent orders, and coordinate logistics and warehouse teams for smooth material movement.
- Work with distributed order management in both online and physical networks to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
- Operate under detailed guidance for daily tasks and new assignments, solving routine challenges with established protocols.
- Collaborate within your team and report directly to your supervisor while functioning as an individual contributor focused on targeted responsibilities.
- Adapt to rotational shift schedules as required to meet operational needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree, preferably a B.E., is required.
- Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in supply chain concepts, especially in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Hands-on experience using SAP for order and inventory processing.
- Strong communication capabilities along with advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Power BI and Macros is considered an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai with readiness to follow rotational or fixed shift patterns.
Additional Information
This role supports Accenture's global operations. The candidate must be based in Mumbai and able to operate under return-to-office policies. Shift timings may vary monthly, with most shifts being fixed for at least a month at a time. The role primarily involves problem solving through established guidelines and has a direct impact on personal work output.
