Supply Chain Master Planner

About the Role

Crafco, Inc., a global leader in pavement preservation manufacturing, is seeking a Supply Chain Master Planner to join their Corporate Supply Chain team based in Phoenix, Arizona. This strategic position entails developing and overseeing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to harmonize customer demand, production capacity, inventory levels, and distribution across multiple manufacturing operations.

The role requires collaboration with departments such as Sales, Customer Support, Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to ensure product availability aligns with customer needs while enhancing operational efficiency and inventory management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and manage the MPS utilizing customer demand data, sales forecasts, inventory goals, and manufacturing capacity considerations.
• Optimize production schedules and inventory to balance excellent customer service with cost-effective manufacturing and warehousing.
• Interpret demand trends, inventory metrics, and production limitations to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Coordinate production priorities and inventory movement among various manufacturing sites.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align production plans with broader business targets.
• Leverage SAP ERP systems, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Bill of Materials (BOM) for precise scheduling and planning.
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles and support continuous process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Prepare detailed planning reports, performance analyses, and actionable recommendations to enhance service levels, inventory control, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related fields.
• Minimum of three years of experience in supply chain planning, including master scheduling, production or demand planning, or inventory management within manufacturing settings.
• Proficiency with ERP software, particularly SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP, MRP, MPS, S&OP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, or certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP.
• Experience using business intelligence and data visualization tools like Power BI.
