Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Logistics and Supply Chain Management Specialist to join on a contract basis. This remote position offers flexibility with a commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours weekly and pays between $40 and $50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of logistics documents to ensure authenticity, precision, and adherence to industry standards.
• Create annotated sample documents to illustrate optimal practices within logistics and supply chain processes.
• Assess current supply chain workflows, offering insightful suggestions for enhancements based on practical experience.
• Provide detailed feedback focused on the structure of logistics documentation and avenues for process efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to clarify requirements and demystify complex logistics topics.
• Engage in quality assurance activities by confirming the accuracy and relevance of supply chain data.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Extensive and relevant background in logistics and supply chain management, with familiarity handling packing lists, bills of lading, and inventory registries.
• Deep understanding of global logistics workflows, associated documentation, and supply chain operations.
• Fluent English communication skills, especially in explaining intricate technical concepts clearly.
• High attention to detail when reviewing and formulating supply chain documentation.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of identifying and implementing process improvements in logistics contexts.
• Advanced education such as a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline is advantageous.

Additional Information

• This position is offered on a contract basis, fully remote.
• The hourly pay rate ranges from $40 to $50, based on experience and expertise.
