Job Summary

The role of Assistant Manager, Supply Chain involves supporting and improving daily operations across multiple teams within Supply Chain and Fulfillment. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the incumbent will manage daily operational tasks, coordinate workflows, foster collaboration, and drive continuous process improvements to meet both immediate operational needs and long-term efficiency objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily supply chain activities including order processing, backlog tracking, vendor coordination, and workflow enhancements.
• Work closely with internal departments such as Operations, Quality Control, Customer Service, and Fulfillment, as well as external partners, to ensure smooth operations and avoid disruptions.
• Track performance metrics, observe volume trends, and maintain organized reports to aid decision-making.
• Develop and update tracking tools, dashboards, and reports using advanced Excel functionalities.
• Distribute workload effectively among teams to maintain high productivity and meet service level goals.
• Provide leadership presence on-site to address bottlenecks and assist in problem resolution.
• Conduct team meetings, operational reviews, and cross-functional briefings professionally and clearly.
• Support employee onboarding and training to clarify expectations, tools, and procedures.
• Offer constructive feedback and coaching to encourage accountability and growth.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance operational execution and transparency.

Skills and Competencies

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, report generation, and dashboard creation.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.
• Meticulous attention to operational detail and discipline.
• Leadership presence with an ability to influence and mentor team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across organizational levels.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and responsibility.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years or more experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Fulfillment, or related fields.
• Preferred 1 to 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proven track record managing high-volume workflows with demonstrable performance outcomes.
• Experienced in analyzing operational data to derive actionable improvements.
• Ability to adapt and perform in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
