Job Description
We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join us on a 6-month contract basis to provide tactical support to supply chain operations. This position involves onboarding vendors, managing purchase requisitions and purchase orders, and ensuring compliance and accuracy in all processes. Familiarity with OpenInvoice and Pricebooks is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard new vendors by collecting and processing all necessary information and documentation accurately.
- Promptly convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, ensuring timely processing.
- Maintain and leverage Pricebooks within the purchasing workflow.
- Use OpenInvoice to assist with purchasing and invoicing procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to purchase requisition and purchase order processing, as well as vendor setup.
- Monitor and manage supply chain transactional activities to meet daily operational requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in vendor onboarding processes.
- Demonstrated ability to convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders effectively.
- Background in a tactical, transaction-focused supply chain capacity.
- Preference for candidates with hands-on experience using OpenInvoice.
- Experience handling Pricebooks in purchasing contexts is an advantage.
- Analytical experience in supply chain management roles.
Additional Information
- Location: Houston, TX
- Compensation ranges from $30 to $50 per hour, based on experience.
- The role is a full-time onsite position lasting six months.
