Overview
Join Powerco's Gas Operations team this summer as an intern and contribute meaningfully to ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the gas network serving communities across Wellington. This role offers hands-on experience in two critical areas: Operations and Asset Strategy, allowing you to engage in resilience projects and improvements in asset maintenance processes.
Candidate Profile
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, or related), preferably in your third year or higher.
- Strong skills in information systems, business analysis, and data science.
- Excellent communication abilities and enjoys collaborating to achieve common goals.
- Innovative mindset with a knack for creative problem solving and exploring new approaches.
- Interest in the evolving role of gas in New Zealand is a plus.
