Strategic Finance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Finance Manager for our client based in Westerville, OH. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong technical expertise and analytical capabilities who will significantly influence strategic financial choices.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to develop financial strategies, plans, and business cases.
• Design and maintain financial models to assess strategic projects, investments, and growth opportunities.
• Take lead or support in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
• Conduct detailed business performance analysis to offer actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions analysis, due diligence processes, and integration planning when applicable.
• Create high-level presentations and financial reporting packages for executives.
• Work collaboratively with Accounting, Operations, and various business unit leaders to align financial objectives.
• Drive improvements and efficiencies within the financial planning and analysis functions.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; CPA certification is highly advantageous.
• Experience in public accounting is considered a significant plus.
• At least four years of advancing experience in finance roles such as financial planning and analysis or strategic finance.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and analytical problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills with a track record of presenting financial information to senior leadership.
• Ability to operate autonomously while managing multiple strategic priorities effectively.
