Role overview
Blackwoods is seeking a motivated Storeperson to join its friendly Rockhampton Trade Store Warehouse team in The Range, Queensland. The position focuses on handling customer orders with care, supporting a smooth warehouse flow, and contributing to a workplace that values reliability, punctuality, and strong customer service.

What you will do
- Prepare customer orders for dispatch by picking, packing, and arranging freight movement.
- Operate a forklift safely within the warehouse.
- Receive incoming stock, apply labels, and place goods into storage.
- Sort items and assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Keep shelves stocked and ensure merchandise is displayed properly.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate brings prior warehouse or similar experience, with experience in environments such as Bunnings, Coles, or Woolworths viewed favourably. You should be physically capable of staying on your feet for most of the day, communicate well in a team, and approach work with a dependable, careful attitude.
A valid forklift licence and practical forklift experience are required. Experience with electric forklifts and non-counterbalance models is considered an advantage. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics is also regarded positively.
