Key Responsibilities
- Maintain uninterrupted availability of essential raw materials through proactive supply risk monitoring and implementation of preventive strategies.
- Lead material shortage recovery efforts, minimizing production halts by coordinated action with planners, procurement teams, and suppliers.
- Assist sourcing and technical teams by identifying alternative materials and vendors to enhance supply reliability and reduce costs.
- Drive initiatives focused on controlling material costs, reducing points of variance (POV), and enhancing cost accuracy in operations.
- Manage inventory efficiently by identifying and controlling slow-moving and obsolete stock to lower write-offs and optimize working capital.
- Lead and execute projects across local, regional, or global scopes aimed at improving supply chain effectiveness and resilience.
- Continuously improve end-to-end supply chain processes through cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain precise documentation for controlled materials and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Candidate Profile
- 1 to 3 years of solid experience in material planning, risk management, and supply chain operations.
- Proven capability to manage complex material management tasks independently within fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on expertise in shortage recovery, inventory optimization, and supplier liaison.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing workflows, cost management, and points of variance control.
- Effective collaboration skills with technical, commercial, procurement, and planning teams.
- Demonstrated project management proficiency with successful on-time delivery and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong understanding of compliance requisites, documentation, and regulatory mandates.
