Job Overview
This role invites individuals with a STEM and engineering background to transition into serving as a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Role Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct in-depth investigations addressing potential violations of federal laws, with a focus on cybersecurity and public safety.
- Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet the dynamic demands of investigative work.
- Establish and sustain effective collaborations with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement entities.
- Maintain necessary physical fitness standards to ensure preparedness for law enforcement responsibilities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Eligible to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness to travel as needed for duties.
- Must satisfy the FBI's employment eligibility criteria.
- Possess at least a bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or a related discipline, from an accredited U.S. institution. Submission of official college transcripts is required for degree verification.
Salary and Benefits
The listed pay range for this position is $93,749 to $133,200 annually, adjusted based on base salary, locality, and availability pay.
