Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will develop backend applications that ensure high performance, scalability, and dependability in distributed systems. Your work will directly influence the secure and timely delivery of DHL packages worldwide. You will also provide third-level operational support to investigate and rectify complex incidents, collaborating with IT support teams and vendors when issues involve technologies such as firmware bugs or security vulnerabilities.

Skills and Expectations

• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot framework, and microservices architecture.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL database, IBM MQ messaging, continuous integration and deployment using Github Actions, and working knowledge of Linux environment.
• Experience or understanding of Podman containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and cloud-native application development.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools for coding automation, documentation, refactoring, test case generation, and root cause analysis during daily development tasks.
• React.js familiarity is considered an advantage.
• Ability to operate independently while collaborating seamlessly with international teams.
• Strong command of English for verbal and written communication.
