Society Management Executive

Job Overview

Join Puranik & Associates as a Society Management Executive where you will oversee a portfolio of 3 to 5 cooperative housing societies located in Thane and Mumbai. Serving as the main point of contact for these societies, your responsibilities will range from managing maintenance billing to preparing annual general meetings and ensuring statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for assigned housing societies, maintaining strong relationships with managing committees.
• Coordinate the billing process for monthly maintenance and manage follow-ups with defaulters.
• Organize and distribute notices, agendas, and minutes for Annual and Special General Meetings.
• Ensure upkeep of statutory registers and timely filing with the Registrar.
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers on society matters.
• Address day-to-day queries, complaints, and escalations from members effectively.
• Compile monthly progress reports for managing committees.
• Support audit activities by keeping precise records and documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any field, preferably Commerce or Law.
• Between 1 to 3 years of experience in housing society or property management or related client-facing positions.
• Familiarity with Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act and Model Bye-Laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel; familiarity with Tally is advantageous.
• Fluent in Marathi and Hindi; basic English communication skills required.
• Willingness to travel to societies across Thane and Mumbai; owning a two-wheeler is preferred.
• Desirable: Experience with housing society management firms, knowledge of society management software, and understanding of bye-law amendments and Registrar circulars.
