Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and creatively driven Social Media & Content Manager to handle the daily management of Effy's organic social media presence. This role involves close collaboration with the Director of Social Media & Influencer Marketing to implement an engaging social strategy through thoughtful planning, concept creation, execution, and performance evaluation. This position requires full-time onsite presence at our New York City headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Social Media & Influencer Marketing to implement the brand's organic social media strategy across all channels.
- Manage and maintain the content calendar ensuring alignment with product launches, seasonal promotions, and broader brand initiatives.
- Develop original content concepts, campaigns, and storytelling formats that enhance brand engagement and strengthen brand presence.
- Monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and cultural developments to keep Effy culturally relevant.
- Coordinate efforts with different teams, external agencies, photographers, and influencers to produce quality content on time.
- Publish and schedule posts across all social media platforms, maintaining brand consistency and a high-end visual identity.
- Work closely with Product, PR, Creative, E-commerce, and Marketing teams to support launches and campaigns.
- Collaborate with paid social teams to incorporate insights from organic campaigns into paid strategies and vice versa.
- Maintain close connections with platform partners such as Instagram and TikTok to stay informed on new features and best practices.
- Analyze and report on social media performance, preparing insights and recommendations for executives.
- Track competitor activities and industry standards to identify opportunities to enhance Effy's social media presence.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance ideation, content planning, creative briefing, research, and workflow efficiency without compromising brand quality.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing social media for consumer brands, ideally in luxury, fashion, beauty, jewelry, or lifestyle sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to spot trends and convert them into impactful social media content and campaigns.
- Experienced in managing content calendars and overseeing collaborative content production.
- Strong command of platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Proven leadership experience managing creative teams.
- Skilled in social media analytics and reporting to evaluate and improve performance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management capabilities.
- Proficient with social media management tools like Sprout Social and familiar with PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Excel.
Additional Information
The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 based on experience and qualifications. Candidates must have valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
