Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sign Installer for a full-time position located on-site in Warana, Queensland. This role primarily focuses on the installation of vehicle wraps, window and wall graphics, rigid panels, lightboxes, and various promotional signs at clients' premises. The job requires working at heights and using elevated work platforms (EWPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret installation instructions, artwork proofs, and site plans accurately.
- Prepare and clean surfaces and fixtures before applying signs, employing hand and power tools as needed.
- Measure precisely to ensure signs are positioned and leveled for optimal visibility.
- Transport signage equipment to job sites and complete installations within agreed timelines.
- Regularly inspect installed signs to verify stability and durability.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety protocols.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and materials in proper working condition.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven advanced experience with vehicle wrapping and sign installation.
- Competency in safely operating hand and power tools along with basic installation hardware.
- Strong practical ability in measuring, leveling, and positioning signage accurately.
- Capability to read and follow installation manuals, site layouts, and safety instructions.
- Physical fitness to lift and carry signage, including working outdoors and at elevated heights using ladders.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills for coordinating with colleagues and customers.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Attention to detail ensuring safety, durability, and a polished end result on all installations.
