Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and tailor ServiceNow applications and services to meet organizational needs.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Implement enhancements and new features in existing ServiceNow applications.
• Prepare and maintain thorough documentation of application setups, system integrations, and workflow processes.
• Develop and update ServiceNow components such as workflows, forms, business rules, UI elements, web services, tables, and menus.
• Utilize the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices to deliver efficient and effective solutions.
• Conduct unit testing and assist user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide ongoing operational support and maintenance for the ServiceNow platform.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow seamlessly with other enterprise systems.
• Keep abreast of the newest ServiceNow features, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a ServiceNow Developer with comprehensive knowledge of the platform.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with a solid understanding of web technologies.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT service management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) are advantageous.

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Experience applying Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of database design principles and data modeling techniques.
• Good understanding of system operations and IT management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, or HRSD.
