Service Engineer

Overview

BioEnable Technologies is seeking a skilled Service Engineer based in Pune, Maharashtra. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electronic and biometric devices, including PCB-level troubleshooting and component replacement. The position requires hands-on work with diagnostic tools and software, along with creating technical content using AI-powered tools to support customer education and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify faults and repair electronic and biometric equipment at PCB level, including soldering, desoldering, and component replacement.
• Utilize multimeters, soldering stations, and other test instruments to perform accurate diagnostics.
• Install and troubleshoot Windows OS, device drivers, firmware, applications, and hardware peripherals.
• Deliver onsite and remote installation, maintenance, and technical support services.
• Set up and troubleshoot fundamental networking protocols such as TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
• Perform basic installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Maintain thorough documentation of service reports, repair logs, and customer interactions.
• Develop product demos, installation manuals, and troubleshooting videos to aid customers.
• Leverage AI technologies to generate scripts, visuals, presentations, audio narration, social media reels, and posts.
• Collaborate with technical, sales, and marketing teams to translate complex technical insights into simple content for customer engagement.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in electronics repair including fault diagnosis at PCB level.
• Experienced in soldering, desoldering, and component replacement techniques.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and Windows troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts and Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Clear communication skills to explain technical information effectively.
• Comfortable appearing on camera for product demonstrations and video creation.
• Experience with AI and creative tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, and CapCut or comparable software.
• Willingness to travel for customer installation and service assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Up to 3 years of practical experience in electronic servicing or technical support roles.
• Knowledge of biometric devices, Internet of Things (IoT) applications, and embedded systems.
• Skills in producing technical videos, social media tutorials, or marketing reels.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Hindi; Marathi language skills are a plus.
• Possession of a two-wheeler and valid driving license is advantageous.

Compensation

This full-time position offers a monthly salary in the range of INR 18,000 to INR 24,000.
