Job Overview
Jyoti Industries is seeking a competent and proactive Service Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. The selected candidate will represent the company at client locations, ensuring machinery is installed correctly, well maintained, and that customer support is delivered promptly and effectively.
Primary Duties
- Carry out on-site machine installation, assembly, and commissioning while adhering to technical standards and safety protocols.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs to maximize machine uptime.
- Serve as the main contact for customers, handling complaints by diagnosing problems, providing technical advice, and coordinating appropriate on-site repairs.
- Keep detailed service records, installation logs, and maintenance schedules up to date for all projects assigned.
- Offer basic operational and safety training to client personnel after machine installation.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience range of 2 to 5 years in machine service, maintenance, or assembly roles.
- Strong skill set in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret technical blueprints, manuals, and schematics efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for professional client interaction and complaint resolution.
- Independent work capability with a focus on problem-solving and readiness to travel as needed.
