Senior Tableau Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Tableau Developer with over seven years of IT industry experience to craft, implement, and sustain dynamic dashboards and compelling data visualizations. This role demands deep proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server or Cloud variants, SQL, and expert data visualization capabilities.

Key Duties

• Design and develop comprehensive interactive dashboards translating complex datasets into clear, insightful visual stories.
• Collaborate effectively with Data Engineering teams to utilize well-prepared datasets optimized for visualization and aid robust data modelling.
• Oversee complete dashboard lifecycle including development, quality testing, deployment, performance tuning, problem resolution, and iterative improvements.
• Ensure adherence to best practices concerning dashboard user experience, data accuracy, governance policies, and standardized reporting frameworks.
• Engage within Agile/Scrum project settings, manage stakeholder requirements, and maintain detailed technical documentation for BI solutions.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of professional experience in IT with a focus on data visualization and business intelligence using Tableau.
• Expert-level skills in Tableau (Desktop and Server/Cloud) and SQL query language.
• Strong understanding of dashboard design principles, data governance, and quality assurance.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and stakeholder communication for complex BI projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
